Hartwick Capital was founded in 1999, and since that time its principals have participated in a variety of different sizes and types of transactions. Transaction sizes range from as large as $125+ million and as small as funding startup and seed investments. Hartwick has been instrumental in the acquisition or founding of several companies, either as sole investor or in concert with its extensive investor network. Hartwick’s principals pride themselves on their ability to quickly bring a very high level of financial and transactional experience to an opportunity without the trappings of a typical private equity fund.

Hartwick Capital is not a fund, but the principals bring access to substantial investment funds through their network. These funds are not bound by the normal constraints of private equity funds allowing a more responsive, flexible and opportunistic approach to investment decisions. Hartwick has raised as little as several hundred thousand dollars, to over $75 million in its previous transactions, with the latter being accomplished in under 45 days.
